Senior Analyst, Tech Operations, Azure BI Developer

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This role will be responsible for building and enhancing data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the Bacardi organization. You will work hands on with the Azure data ecosystem—including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL, Power BI, etc.—to design robust BI solutions, improve data quality, and support business critical decision-making.
In this opportunity, you will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to optimize existing data processes, develop new pipelines and models, and ensure reliable data delivery for reporting and automation needs. This is a key role for driving efficiency, visibility, and innovation within Bacardi’s operational data landscape.

ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced Business Intelligence professional with over five years of hands on experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, and a proven ability to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions. You bring analytical rigor, effective collaboration skills, and a commitment to improving data quality and operational reporting. You are ready to enhance our Data Operations function by driving consistency, innovation, and continuous improvement across our data environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based BI solutions, including data models, data pipelines, and reporting components that support operational and analytical needs.
•    Build, enhance, and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL etc.
•    Enhance and modernize existing Azure solutions, ensuring they remain scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business and technical requirements.
•    Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and availability through robust validation, monitoring, and quality control mechanisms.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and BI deliverables.
•    Identify opportunities to improve performance, automation, and operational efficiency across BI and data workflows.
•    Support Data Operations in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis related to data pipelines and BI assets.
•    Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for solution designs, data flows, and operational procedures.
•    Apply and uphold security, governance, and compliance best practices across all Azure data assets.

SKILLS

Key Relationships
•    Strong experience with Azure Data Services: Azure Analysis Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database and Script, SQL Stored Procedures and Azure Data Lake Storage, 
•    Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices.
•    Experience with REST APIs, integration services, and microservice architectures.
•    Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools 
•    Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
•    Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and orchestration workflows.
•    Ability to design logical, physical, and analytical data models for reporting and operational use cases.
•    Understanding of data validation, lineage, governance, and security best practices in cloud environments.
•    Strong SQL skills; experience with Python or PySpark is an advantage (especially for Databricks).
Good to have skills:
•    Familiarity or experience with and Power Automate and Power Apps development

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•    5+ years experience in cloud development and hands‑on experience  in Microsoft Azure.
