The Job:
The Market Planner is responsible for overseeing supply planning activities within a specific country, coordinating across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs). This role acts as a critical liaison between market leadership and the regional supply planning team, ensuring alignment of supply strategies with market demands and business objectives. The Market Planner plays a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and operational execution, balancing market needs with supply capabilities. You’ll get to:
Serve as the primary point of contact between market leadership and the supply planning team.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between market stakeholders and regional supply planners to ensure alignment on supply strategies and objectives.
Collaborate with market leadership to understand demand forecasts and business priorities.
Work with regional supply planners to align supply plans with market demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels and service levels.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and service levels.
Provide regular updates and reports to market leadership on supply planning performance and areas for improvement.
Identify potential supply chain disruptions and work proactively with regional planners to develop contingency plans.
Address and resolve supply-related issues in collaboration with market and regional teams.
Drive initiatives to improve supply chain processes and enhance collaboration between market and regional teams.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements in supply planning strategies.
Approve and optimize the purchase plan and inventory projections for the assigned market, including the reallocation of goods when necessary.
Act as the main point of contact with Regional Marketing, gathering information regarding new trends, seasonality, events management, product life cycle and others that might have an impact on the supply plan and adjust accordingly to avoid service failures.
• Own and manage the planning systems and tools.
• Align with Planning Manager & Country Manager in order to meet the inventory goals at the country level.
• Effectively communicate with demand planners to ensure new initiatives and products are properly recorded and timely reflected in the supply plan in order to avoid disruptions.

Experience in a market-facing role with exposure to executive-level communication.
Advanced degree or certification in supply chain management or a related field.
Experience working with suppliers in Asia and US. Have worked for Latin America.
At least 5 years of experience in a consumer goods or similar industry, having managed product portfolios of more than 1,000 SKUs in supply replenishment and purchasing planning roles.
Inventory management.
IBP Process.
Deep knowledge of Supply planning (MPS, MRP, CRP).
P&L Knowledge desired.
