Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Settlement Operations
For our Treasury Center of Excellence we are currently looking for Senior Analyst who will focus on Settlement Operations.
In this role you will provide settlement management, settlement advice and funds transfer solutions for customers utilizing Mastercard's financial clearing systems. You will support settlement of the financial transactions processed by GCMS, MDS, RPPS and IPS, provide settlement services for some of the customer account receivables generated by the MasterCard Billing System and manage settlement solutions for all MasterCard regions, facilitating domestic and cross-border funds transfers via various small and large value (e.g., ACH, TARGET, Fedwire, SWIFT) funds transfer systems.
Your role:• Execute the daily settlement operation process for all service cut-offs• Manage the collection of member payables.• Maintain required logs • Reviews and performs NSIF maintenance and establish wire transfer routing numbers• Ensure processes remain within established internal and external standards• Respond to Settlement inquiries and Help Desk questions• Provide support to other functions within department on an as needed basis. • Research special topics as assigned• Develop reports as assigned• Challenge the status quo by identifying process improvements • Develop skills and knowledge required to continuously propose efficiencies• Lead and coordinate successful implementation of projects• Ability to effectively utilize tools and reports to investigate cash discrepancies
All About You:• Working knowledge of desk top computer software systems• Knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, cash management and the payment operations industry• Ability to work as a team member• Keep abreast of current market conditions• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Skills Required
- Experience with Mastercard settlement systems (GCMS, MDS, RPPS, IPS, MasterCard Billing System)
- Knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, cash management and the payments operations industry
- Working knowledge of desktop computer software systems
- Experience executing daily settlement operations, managing member payables, maintaining logs and performing NSIF maintenance
- Ability to establish wire transfer routing numbers and support domestic and cross-border funds transfers (ACH, TARGET, Fedwire, SWIFT)
- Ability to investigate cash discrepancies using tools and reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team; lead and coordinate project implementations
