We are seeking a bright and resourceful Senior Analyst for our Risk Strategy team. As a critical member of the team, you will establish credit strategies in-line with our risk appetite and provide strategic oversight on the recreational vehicle portfolio. You will work with origination and external market data to formulate optimal underwriting strategies that support the portfolio's profitability. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker who has strong analytics skill and can methodically explain analysis to senior leaders, making meaningful contributions to the direction and success of the business.

This is a hybrid position in our NYC office. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Optimize strategies to underwrite consumer loan programs within risk and business constraints
  • Design and monitor key KPIs to provide insights into the fraud, credit and collections lifecycle
  • Forecast loss and performance under varied credit and economic conditions 
  • Improve sophistication and technical implementation of current approaches
  • Create and maintain risk policy documentation
  • Perform advanced data analytics and advise the underwriting strategies for loan origination, loan amount assignment, and loan pricings that optimize profitability
  • Collaborate with the portfolio risk team to track credit performance and take action to manage the portfolio within the organization’s risk management appetite

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, econometrics, or engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in risk management at a financial institution, comparable experience in an analytical environment, or related Master’s degree with 2-3 years of related experience
  • Self-starter who thrives on autonomy
  • Comfortable working with large datasets
  • Hands-on programming experience with SQL, Python, or other languages 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Compensation: In addition to salary, Total Rewards include bonus eligibility, a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below. The role described above offers a base salary of $85,000 to $115,000 + corporate bonus eligibility. Your offer will be based on location, the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity.
