About your team

The Finance Technology function provides systems development, implementation and support services for FIL’s Finance Team.  We support several functions spanning across Business Finance & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting & Analytics, Taxation, Global Procurement, Corporate Treasury, and several other teams in all of FIL’s international locations, including UK, Japan, China and India.

We provide IT services to the Fidelity International businesses, globally. These include development and support of business functions that underpin our financial accounting and decision making for global CFO Orgs, and we implement multiple systems including ERP platforms, Oracle EPM home grown apps and third party products.  We are system providers to key process lifecycles such as Procure to Pay (P2P/Global Procurement), Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C) and Acquire to Retire (A2R). We also manage systems to enable cash management, forex trading and treasury operations across the Globe. We own warehouses that consolidate data from across the organisations functions to provide meaningful insights.

We are currently running a major multi-year global transformation programme that includes construction of critical new in-house applications, catering to several functional work streams.

About your role

This vacancy is for a highly motivated Functional Consultant who can quickly understand the business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into Oracle Cloud Solution.

The right candidate must be highly motivated who can quickly troubleshoot the issues/bugs/service requests requirements from stakeholders and translate them into Oracle EPM (FCCS/DRM/ARCS) Solution. Candidate must be familiar with MDM process and its management.

Essential Skills

  • Providing Support to Business Users and Development Team for Oracle EPM solution / issues.
  • Good knowledge of financial consolidation process in Oracle FCCS.
  • Good knowledge of DRM/DRG system to support MDM process.
  • Performing requirements analysis and Bug analysis.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, users and Oracle Support Team.
  • Monitoring Month-end and ensuring timely completion of change requests/requirements.
  • Communication on progress with all stakeholders.

About you

  • B.E. / B.TECH / C.A. / M.B.A.
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience in Oracle EPM and at least 4-6 years in Support of Oracle EPM cloud applications.
  • Key responsibilities will include:
    • Product Management
  • Knowledge of Product functionalities (Oracle FCCS, ARCS & DRM) SaaS applications.
  • Be aware of financial regulations such as IFRS/US GAAP etc. which can influence product features.
    • Worked on Essbase Calc manager and possess detailed understanding of Calc Manager functions rules/formulas.
    • Period Closing and Month end data load process.
    • Worked on profile creation, integration and data reconciliation in ARCS application.
  • Identifying Gaps in Oracle Solution w.r.t. Business Needs.
  • Bug & User Issue Resolution
  • Coordinating with Oracle Support and getting the issues and enhancements resolved.
  • Flexibility to work in UK timings as per requirement.
  • Communication on progress with all stakeholders
  • Delivery
  • Handle day-to-day support issues in Oracle FCCS like data load errors, consolidation failures, and user queries.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities including consolidation, translation, and validation checks.
  • Maintain and update metadata such as dimensions, hierarchies, and mappings based on business requests.
  • Assist business users with data loads, reconciliations, and report-related issues.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and Oracle support to resolve incidents and support system upgrades or patches.
    • Manage and support Oracle monthly patching, including patch review, impact analysis, testing support, and post-patch validation
    • Worked on Oracle pipeline functionality.
    • Good knowledge of Oracle Smartview.
    • Monitor and support ARCs close processes, including rule execution, status checks, and issue resolution.
    • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide fixes or workarounds
    • Good knowledge of DRM process to support MDM process.
    • Good to have Oracle TRCS application knowledge.
