The Senior Pricing Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in pricing systems, analytics, and commercial data. The role partners with the pricing organisation to provide actionable insights, optimise pricing processes, enhance pricing technologies, and improve data quality. This person leads complex analytical initiatives, business intelligence solutions, and pricing system enhancements that support commercial decision-making across the enterprise, influencing pricing outcomes through data, insights, and process improvements. This role is fast paced, high-visibility, and challenging. The perfect candidate will be a strategic thinker, technically strong, and able to lead cross-functional work out of the gate.

Additional role specifics:

The Senior Pricing Analyst develops advanced analytical solutions that support pricing and commercial decision-making, designs and maintains executive dashboards and reporting solutions, and performs complex analyses using large datasets from enterprise systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

As an SME for pricing platforms and supporting technologies, this person leads system enhancement projects and business requirements development, partners with IT and external vendors on system implementations and improvements, and supports pricing platform governance and best practices. The Senior Pricing Analyst manages complex data extraction, transformation, and validation activities, designs scalable reporting and data models, and drives automation, data quality, and efficiency initiatives.

The Senior Pricing Analyst leads cross-functional projects supporting pricing transformation initiatives — gathering business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, facilitating testing and deployment of new functionality, and driving adoption of new tools and capabilities. This person also provides coaching and technical guidance to junior analysts and promotes best practices in analytics, reporting, and system management.

You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with internal partners across ADI. Internal partners include:

  • Pricing – deliver insights, analytics, and process improvements that shape commercial decisions
  • Sales Operations – act as a key business partner for reporting, data, and tooling needs
  • Finance – align pricing analytics and KPI reporting with financial performance
  • IT – lead requirements development and partner on system implementations and enhancements
  • External Vendors – collaborate on pricing platform improvements and new functionality

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in Pricing Analytics, Commercial Operations, Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, or Pricing Technology Administration
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced Power BI development
  • Advanced MS SQL and Snowflake experience
  • Data modelling and reporting architecture
  • Business requirements gathering
  • Dashboard and KPI development
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capability
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Python
  • Power Automate
  • Azure Data Services
  • ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with one or more pricing/commercial systems: Model N, Vendavo, Pricefx , Zilliant, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Success in this role will be measured by:

Quality and reliability of reporting and analytics; delivery of pricing system enhancements; reduction in manual processes through automation; data quality improvements; adoption of reporting tools and dashboards; stakeholder satisfaction; and successful execution of transformation initiatives.
