Are you ready to make an impact at the intersection of platform engineering and enterprise innovation? Join a team where your technical expertise directly enables business outcomes at scale—and where your growth as an engineer is supported every step of the way.
As a Software Engineer III – ServiceNow at JPMorganChase within the Infrastructure Platforms Digital Workflows team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Digital Workflows Platform Core Engineering designs and maintains the foundational platform capabilities that accelerate business processes while ensuring adherence to JPMorganChase control policies. The team's mission is to align technology with business objectives by providing a reliable, scalable, and secure core platform that enables product delivery teams to implement workflows quickly and consistently—so they can focus on business outcomes rather than the complexity of underlying control requirements and technology systems.
The team's responsibilities span end-to-end platform engineering, including scalable infrastructure management (high availability, disaster recovery, and dependable lower environments), automation and tooling (release automation, CI/CD pipelines, operational scripts, and reusable core capabilities), and strong monitoring/observability in partnership with production management. Core Engineering also drives security and compliance through best practices and ongoing assessments, supports integrations, and delivers essential platform operations such as clonebacks and upgrades. Through coding standards, documentation, training, and continuous performance optimization, the team fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while enabling consistent, efficient ServiceNow platform operations at scale.
