The Payroll Reporting Senior Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving accurate, auditable payroll reporting across Crown’s workforce systems.

The role translates payroll, workforce, finance and compliance requirements into clear reporting outputs, reconciliations, dashboards and data quality controls that support payroll accuracy, regulatory confidence and operational decision making.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and enhance recurring payroll, payroll compliance, reconciliation, exemption and operational reporting.

  • Identify payroll-critical data defects across source systems and reporting outputs.

  • Translate business, payroll, compliance and operational requirements into reporting specifications, data definitions, dashboards and report logic.

  • Support cross-system reconciliations across Workday, UKG, payroll and finance/reporting environments.

  • Maintain reporting governance, access controls, version control, process maps, SOPs and runbooks.

About you

  • Practical experience in payroll reporting, payroll analysis, HRIS/workforce systems reporting, payroll compliance, finance reporting or people data analytics.

  • Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and ability to interpret complex payroll, workforce and employee data.

  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, reconciliation packs, exception reports and data-quality controls.

  • Understanding of payroll concepts including pay components, leave, superannuation, tax, deductions, costing, GL mapping and payroll cycles.
