The opportunity:
- We are looking for candidates at a Senior Analyst or Manager level (depending on experience) based in Wellington who can bring financial modelling skills to a deal environment.
- You will work with our team to evaluate investment opportunities, help structure and execute transactions and support clients realise value.
- Candidates would apply their quantitative skills to provide practical insights and high-quality financial and commercial advice to clients.
Day to day you will:
- Develop high-quality financial models and other quantitative analysis
- Present analysis and advice in a clear and impactful way
- Apply your skills to a range of strategic, commercial and investment decisions for public and private sector clients
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
- Participate in business development and team management initiatives
What you'll bring to the team:
- 3-5 years relevant experience ideally in an accounting, boutique, large corporate or investment firm
- High levels of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a depth of experience in financial model development and review
- Experience in project finance modelling (desirable but not required)
- Strong communication and quantitative skills, with attention to detail
- A passion for developing solutions to complex strategic, commercial and financial issues across a range of sectors
- Ability to work independently but also able to collaborate effectively with your team with a high level of self-motivation, energy and drive
- CA, CPA or CFA qualification desirable (but not required)
- Excellent academic record in a relevant discipline
