Job Title: Senior Analyst - Investment & Valuation

Job Summary:
Cineverse is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Investment & Valuation to support its M&A, greenlight, and long-term strategic initiatives. This role will focus on evaluating investments, building valuation models, and driving integration efforts for key partnerships, acquisitions, and new business ventures.

You’ll partner closely with divisional and corporate leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities, model investment outcomes, and guide capital allocation decisions. This role combines valuation modeling, scenario analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen Cineverse’s strategic finance framework and support data-driven growth across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial evaluation of M&A, partnerships, and new ventures through detailed financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis.
  • Develop and maintain pro-forma P&Ls and synergy models, quantifying revenue uplift and cost savings from acquisitions or integrations.
  • Prepare ROI, IRR, and NPV analyses for content investments, greenlights, and slate decisions across Theatrical and Digital pipelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key business segments — Streaming & Distribution, Theatrical, Podcast & Other, Technology, and new Emerging Business to validate deal assumptions and assess risk/reward outcomes.
  • Support integration planning, helping to align newly acquired entities into Cineverse’s financial framework and reporting cadence.
  • Partner with the CFO and VP of FP&A to prepare materials for Board and executive review — including investment decks, synergy updates, and sensitivity summaries.
  • Develop and refine dashboards that track performance of acquired or JV businesses, ensuring accountability to projected metrics and ROI targets.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives such as vendor rationalization, infrastructure optimization, gross margin and capital efficiency analysis.
  • Support investor relations and capital strategy efforts by crafting financial narratives and maintaining data consistency across management reports and external presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus).
  • 5–6 years of experience in investment evaluation/analysis, corporate development, or strategic FP&A — preferably in media, entertainment, or digital advertising.
  • Expertise in valuation and financial modeling (DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity, synergy modeling).
  • Experience working with customers & specific industry metrics for decisions evaluations is preferred
  • Strong understanding of content economics, M&A integration, and post-acquisition reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Anaplan, Tableau, or NetSuite preferred.
  • Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills; proven ability to synthesize financial insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment requiring collaboration with senior executives and multiple cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate

You combine analytical depth with strategic vision. You thrive on connecting the dots between data and decision-making — shaping investment cases, quantifying synergies, and helping leadership drive Cineverse’s next phase of growth through smart, disciplined capital deployment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • 5-6 years of experience in investment evaluation/analysis
  • Expertise in valuation and financial modeling (DCF, IRR, NPV)
  • Strong understanding of content economics and M&A integration
