SUMMARY:
The SFA Sales Finance role will be a key partner for the Sales Organization and other functional groups providing analytical insights, process oversight, and reporting. Key responsibilities will include daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, building and reporting KPI scorecards, analyzing MDF spend, facilitating the MDF forecast, tracking and/or accounting for monthly financial results, executing financial analyses, and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting. This role is heavily involved in month-end and quarter-end activities and ensuring spend across multiple line items are properly coded. Candidates should be able to identify key trends and issues for decision-making and/or take corrective actions to streamline processes. Supports internal control processes and completes appropriate SOX requirements. Successful candidates will have the ability to analyze large volumes of data, troubleshoot, make corrective actions, and effectively communicate with management. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and system skills. Must possess strong prioritization, organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders. A candidate should already have a basic knowledge of business cycles systems and processes that impact Sales and Operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years experience in Finance, previous CPG experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess the ability to streamline internal processes along with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders.
Computer Skills: Strong excel based skills required including experience with successfully working with large data sets. Experience with SAP Financial applications is a plus. Power BI Experience is a plus.
