Role & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and finalization of books of accounts in accordance with Indian GAAP.
- You will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather information required for monthly financial closing activities.
- You will be responsible for preparing and posting journal vouchers (JVs) accurately and within defined timelines.
- You will be responsible for preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- You will be responsible for supporting internal and external audit processes by providing required financial information, schedules, and explanations.
- You will be responsible for preparing month-end reports, including FC42/FC43 lease reports, stock statements, and other statutory or management reports.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting continuous process improvements within the accounting function.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Sound knowledge of Indian GAAP; exposure to Ind AS will be an added advantage.
- Experience in month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit support.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work within strict reporting timelines.
