We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with hands-on experience in OneSource (Thomson Reuters Tax Engine) and Oracle E-Business Tax (EBTax). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Sales & Use Tax, experience working across multi-ERP environments (Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), and strong exposure to international localization across Europe and APAC. This role will be instrumental in driving financial transformation, tax compliance, and system integrations across global platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and IT partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for AP/AR and tax processes.
- Lead fit-gap analysis, as-is/to-be process design, and recommend scalable solutions aligned with global business needs.
- Drive implementation and support of AP/AR modules integrated with OneSource (Thomson Reuters) for tax determination and reporting.
- Work across multiple ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and standardization of financial processes.
- Configure and support Oracle E-Business Tax (EBTax) including tax regimes, tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions.
- Manage and support Sales & Use Tax configurations, including tax calculation logic, exemptions, multi-state compliance, and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with regional and global tax regulations, including:
- Sales & Use Tax (US)
- VAT (Europe)
- GST (APAC)
- E-invoicing
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical design specifications.
- Support RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows) across AP/AR and tax integrations.
- Participate in system configuration, unit testing, SIT, UAT, and ensure successful deployment.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution during implementation and production support phases.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with ERP vendors (Oracle, Microsoft) and tax engine providers (Thomson Reuters).
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and automation across financial and tax processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree – IT, Computer Science, Math, MIS or Data Analytics.
- 4-6 years experience required creating/developing and delivering/implementing software and technology solutions.
- 4-6 years experience required working with core software applications (examples include .NET, SQL, GIT, Subversion, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and other Office software.
- Strong organization skills.
