Senior Analyst, Business Development
Job Description Summary• This role supports the 'Customer Economics' function for India FI Market, a strategically important aspect of our business.• Responsibilities would entail an understanding of business Finance and associated revenues for various stakeholders, understanding of payment transaction flows, ability to build financial models, competence in data analysis to gather useful insights.• A candidate high on energy with solid analytical skills, comfort with data/numbers, deep sense of accountability and ownership, strong execution focus, and a collaborative mindset, would be most likely to succeed in the role.• This is an individual contributor role reporting to the SVP, Business Development.
Role/Responsibilities• The role is expected to support the Sales and Business Development teams with data and analytical insights - creating dashboards, periodic data reports, creating excel models, etc.• Use necessary tools and knowledge to achieve this objective, such as financial modelling, data analysis, competition benchmarking, regulatory scan, etc.• Interface with relevant internal stakeholders to communicate/disseminate MIS/gather feedback.
Experience• Past experience in data analytics and reporting needed.• Experience in a business facing function• Candidates having experience in Payments, Banking or financial institution would be preferred
Skills• Self-driven, organized and pro-active• Able to multi-task and work well in a small team• Commercially focused with good analytical skills• Expert level proficiency in using analytical tools and applications, including MS Excel & MS PowerPoint• Collaborative and consultative approach
