Senior Analyst, Business Development
Overview
This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage the end-to-end Mastercard relationship with key Retail and Commerce merchant customers in Singapore. As the primary account manager, you will drive commercial growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver impactful payment strategies that create value for both Mastercard and its customers.
Role• Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, owning the overall relationship and commercial outcomes• Engage clients regularly through face-to-face interactions to align on business priorities, sales and marketing strategies, and growth opportunities• Lead business reviews, track performance, and assess return on investment across key initiatives• Partner with internal cross-functional teams across Singapore and regional markets to design and execute payment programs• Drive segment penetration and revenue growth by identifying opportunities and implementing commercially viable solutions• Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enable collaboration and long-term partnership success• Navigate client discussions and negotiations with confidence, balancing customer needs with Mastercard's objectives
All About You• Self-motivated and commercially minded, with a strong focus on execution and delivering results• Proven experience in retail and/or commerce sectors, ideally in business development, sales, or marketing roles• Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels and markets• Comfortable working across multiple disciplines and collaborating with cross-functional teams• High level of emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and confidence in client-facing environments• Strong understanding of electronic payments, with exposure to product management and sales/marketing perspectives• Confident in business negotiations and comfortable working with technology-driven solutions• A team player who is proactive, adaptable, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
