The Job
Manage Investment Compliance by using Bloomberg Asset and Investment Management function (AIM)
Establish rules in Bloomberg CMGR function to provide automated control on investment management activities and update regularly in view of investment mandate revisions and implementation of new restrictions
Monitor breaches and incidents in relation to investment management and report to Asset and Liabilities Management Committee (ALMCO)
Maintain proper records of the monitoring and trade approvals in Bloomberg Violation Manager (VMGR) function
Liaise with stakeholders and regulators on fulfilling regulatory requirements
Develop and provide investment compliance training to stakeholders
Support the development of data analytics projects to enhance monitoring
The Person
University graduate with 5-8 years relevant experience in insurance industry
Hands on experience and knowledge on investment products and processes
Professional qualifications such as CFA and FRM is preferred
Knowledge of Hong Kong legislation, especially IA, SFC and MPFA regulations
Experience in Bloomberg AIM and Compliance Manager (CMGR) function
A committed team player and able to liaise with different stakeholders
Strong financial risk management mindset with overall concepts of processes and controls
Candidates with less experience may be considered as Analyst or Senior Analyst
