Job Overview
The Senior Analyst, Advisor Compensation is a member of an innovative, action-oriented team within the Field Management organization that oversees incentive compensation programs for multiple employee advisor affiliation models. The individual in this role is primarily responsible for administering incentive compensation plans and providing support to employee advisors and internal business partners. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in the onboarding and training of advisors and will participate in special projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate for the Senior Analyst position has outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, makes data-driven decisions, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities

Accurately calculate and distribute monthly incentive compensation payments to plan participants, advisors and support staff.

Configure and maintain compensation plans, user information and hierarchy structures in the incentive compensation management tool.

Provide end-to-end ownership of advisor inquiries by collaborating with internal partners to deliver prompt and effective solutions.

Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to complete complex research requests and make informed decisions and recommendations.

Consult advisors and internal business partners on best practices, policies, and procedures related to incentive compensation.

Conduct impactful training sessions and presentations to educate prospects, advisors and support staff on incentive compensation programs and resources.

Maintain and enhance internal processes and controls while identifying existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities.

Participate in special projects and initiatives (i.e., plan renewals, system enhancements, etc.) and identify opportunities for improvements.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional business experience, preferably in financial services, compensation, or payroll

3+ years of service-oriented experience, providing advisor or other client-facing support

Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
Core Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally navigate through difficult conversations

Effective time management, able to oversee daily responsibilities, escalations, and projects concurrently

Proactive self-starter who thrives in autonomous roles within a geographically dispersed team

Strong attention to detail, capable of consistently producing high quality, on-time deliverables
Preferences:

Experience with Varicent, Smartsheet, Workday and/or Salesforce (or similar ICM, workforce and/or CRM tools)

Skilled at developing and creating resources and tools for training and presentations

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Financial services, finance analyst, Sales compensation, incentive compensation, or payroll experience

Pay Range:
$80,100.00 - $133,500.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
