Within the Advanced Power System team, we are looking for a Senior AMS Verification Engineer to lead mixed-signal verification activities for advanced automotive and industrial products. You will define verification strategies, improve methodologies, collaborate with global expert teams, and help deliver robust silicon with a strong Total Quality mindset.
What you will doIn this role, you will contribute to complex NXP projects from specification review to silicon correlation, with ownership of key AMS verification deliverables.
- Lead AMS verification activities and guide engineers toward successful project delivery.
- Define verification plans, strategies, environments, regressions, and coverage objectives.
- Develop and validate mixed-signal simulation environments, behavioural models, checkers, assertions, and reusable verification components.
- Bridge digital verification and mixed-signal verification flows for robust top-level verification.
- Drive methodology improvements to increase simulation efficiency, reuse, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Support design reviews, bug tracking, post-silicon correlation, and continuous improvement across projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in AMS or mixed-signal IC verification.
- Strong experience leading verification activities for complex ASIC or mixed-signal IC projects.
- Solid knowledge of analog fundamentals, digital RTL debug, co-simulation, and mixed-signal verification methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with verification plans, testbenches, regressions, coverage, reviews, and bug closure.
- Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA, Verilog-AMS, SystemC, WREAL/RNM modelling, and EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Xcelium, Spectre, and vManager.
- Good scripting skills in Python, Perl, or TCL, and experience with Git, SVN, or DesignSync.
- Experience with automotive, industrial, safety-oriented, power management, or power application products.

- Clear communication and collaboration skills in international, multidisciplinary teams.

As of the date of this posting, the estimated gross annual base salary range for this position in Italy is between 61,000 € and 83,900 € annually. This range is intended as a guideline. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, and specific business or organizational needs.This position falls under the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (Metalmeccanica Industria).
Where relevant, the total compensation package may also include additional elements such as annual incentive opportunities and/or equity, along with a competitive benefits package.
