What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and development of ML models;
- Drive feature engineering, model experimentation, and evaluation;
- Shape the technical vision and architecture of a brand-new AI initiative;
- Collaborate with data engineers and business domain experts to shape the PoC and final product;
- Build explainable AI outputs suitable for the business domain operations;
- Produce early prototypes and guide technical decision-making;
- Lay the foundations for scaling of an AI/ML team.
Requirements
Mandatory
- University degree in IT or equivalent;
- 5+ years in applied machine learning (anomaly detection, fraud, risk scoring, predictive analytics);
- Strong Python, ML frameworks, and hands-on data skills;
- Experience owning end-to-end ML lifecycle (data → model → prototype);
- Ability to work in a small, fast-moving, exploratory environment;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent in English (additional EU languages are a plus).
Optional
- Experience in supply chain, customs, taxation, risk management, financial crime, or similar domains;
- Experience with simple UI prototyping.
