Your future team
We have recently started a journey towards using AI at scale, general digitalization, automation and better use of data – and this is where your abilities come into play. You will join the AI CoE team and work at the forefront of AI and machine learning. This role reports to the Team Lead of the AI CoE based in Poland with most of the team in Poznan office. You will work closely with teams from Denmark, Poland and Malaysia and be an integral part of a larger global Data & AI team.
What you will be doing
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer with Machine Learning, Generative AI and software development experience. In this role, you will work closely with Data Scientists, ML engineers, Data Engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop and deploy custom AI products and analytics solutions at ROCKWOOL. You will be part of a growing team that focuses on developing custom AI products & LLM solutions. The role requires a blend of technical and communication skills. More concretely, you will have the following responsibilities:
Develop and deploy AI products & applications
Use various modern technologies, tools and packages such Azure OpenAI, LLMs, vector databases, Langchain etc. to engineer AI products at scale
Maintain custom GenAI products such as in house developed LLM solution.
Develop and maintain various LLM APIs and backend functionality that supports custom AI products
Use cloud technologies such as Azure, OpenShift, VertexAI, etc. to support the ML Engineer by contributing to the development of our core AI platform
Automate infrastructure provisioning (IaC) and CI/CD processes for custom AI workloads
Follow Machine Learning processes and Best Practices
Develop and maintain best practices and standards for carrying out AI based projects
Collaboration with the team in identifying areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance the data science function in our organization
Ensure continuous learning and development
Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI to ensure that our practices are cutting-edge
What you bring
A master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
5+ years of experience in AI and Data Science and it would be great if you have experience within manufacturing
2+ years of experience of working with LLMs, transformer models, vector databases, RAG frameworks, Langchain, etc.
Excellent skills within Python, SQL, and cloud computing technologies
Experience with Python packages such as FastAPI, SQLAlchemy and Pydantic
Hands on experience in deploying models and algorithms into production systems is desirable
Experience with ML Ops tools and frameworks such as Kubeflow, MLflow, e.g. is desirable
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is desirable
Professional proficiencyin the English language
