Job Description

Build AI that helps P&G turn sustainability ambition into measurable action. Join P&G’s Sustainability (ESG) Services organization — the trusted data and intelligence foundation helping P&G reduce its environmental footprint, enable more sustainable product and consumer choices, and scale impact through innovation. You’ll apply agentic AI, automation, data engineering, and cloud technology to some of P&G’s most meaningful sustainability challenges, taking ideas from experimentation to secure, reusable solutions used across a global enterprise.

What you’ll do — and the impact you’ll help create

  • Design, prototype, build, and scale AI- and automation-enabled solutions that turn sustainability data into faster insights, predictions, decisions, and actions.
  • Apply agentic AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows to challenges across climate, water, packaging and waste, nature, product life-cycle impacts, and sustainability reporting.
  • Help P&G move from retrospective sustainability reporting toward proactive intelligence—identifying anomalies, improving data quality, anticipating issues, and supporting better environmental decisions earlier.
  • Build trusted data models, features, quality controls, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and distributed processing that strengthen the foundation for auditable ESG reporting and compliance.
  • Experiment with emerging AI models and technologies and turn the best ideas into secure, responsible, production-ready capabilities that can be reused across sustainability teams.
  • Develop high-quality, tested, standards-compliant code and contribute reusable components, tools, and engineering practices that accelerate innovation at scale.
  • Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions using modern DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and responsible engineering practices.
  • Partner with sustainability experts, product teams, data professionals, architects, and engineers to embed trusted sustainability intelligence directly into the workflows where P&G makes product, operational, and business decisions.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong foundations in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, automation, or cloud engineering, with the ability to turn complex and ambiguous problems into practical solutions.
  • Hands-on programming experience and a commitment to clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
  • Experience with modern data platforms, pipelines, APIs, cloud services, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
  • Curiosity about generative and agentic AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies, paired with an experimentation mindset and focus on responsible, scalable adoption.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect technology possibilities to meaningful business and sustainability outcomes.
  • A passion for continuous learning and an interest in using technology to address environmental challenges. Prior ESG experience is welcome but not required.

Why P&G Sustainability?

At P&G, sustainability is integrated into how we design and deliver superior products. Our strategy focuses on reducing the footprint of our own operations and supply chain, helping consumers reduce their impact through better product and packaging choices, and scaling solutions through partnerships and innovation. ESG Services makes that strategy actionable by turning trusted sustainability data into intelligence decisions at scale.

This is technology work with visible purpose. ESG Services supports P&G’s progress across climate, waste, water, nature, sustainable packaging, product life-cycle impact, Ambition 2030, and trusted external reporting. The organization is increasingly applying AI to move beyond reporting toward prediction, optimization, natural-language experiences, automated data quality, and AI-assisted engineering. In this role, you can help shape that transformation—building the intelligent capabilities that enable P&G teams to make sustainability considerations part of everyday decisions and translate data into measurable environmental and business impact, designs and delivers superior products. Sustainability Services provides the trusted data, insights, platforms, and intelligent capabilities that help P&G reduce its operational footprint, enable more sustainable product and consumer choices, support external reporting and regulatory requirements, and scale sustainability solutions through innovation. AI is already being applied across Sustainability Services. This role offers the opportunity to help move that work from experimentation to reusable, governed, production-scale capabilities—combining meaningful purpose with modern engineering challenges.
