Team: Advisory
Reports to: Project Lead / Market Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Break down complex client challenges into clear analytical questions and structured workstreams.
- Develop initial hypotheses on market dynamics, project risks, and strategic opportunities.
- Validate problem statements, assumptions, and analytical paths with the Project Lead and Market Lead.
- Conduct early research to ensure hypotheses are grounded and aligned with client objectives.
- Translate project scopes into detailed execution plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
- Delegate tasks effectively, providing analysts with guidance on methodologies, data sources, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of quantitative work, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and analytical rigor.
- Identify issues early and proactively resolve bottlenecks, risks, or data inconsistencies.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with the Project Lead about progress, risks, needs, and decisions.
- Engage with clients throughout the project to ensure continuous alignment of expectations.
- Document meetings, decisions, next steps, and open points with discipline.
- Serve as a secondary client point of contact, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Create structured, compelling, and insight-driven client presentations.
- Develop storylines that connect the problem, analysis, and recommendations smoothly.
- Craft clean, simple, and visually effective slides that convey key messages without clutter.
- Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Participate actively in internal discussions, contributing perspective and challenging assumptions constructively.

- Help refine proposal templates, case studies, and reusable commercial materials.
- Participate in early-stage client calls to clarify needs and shape proposal direction when required.

- Manage tasks efficiently across multiple deadlines and workstreams.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 2–5+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, analytics, finance, strategy, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, especially for analytical workflows, data manipulation, or modelling.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and comfort working with quantitative data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and strong competency in Excel or analytical tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams and guide junior team members.
- Maturity, ownership, and a strong service mindset.
- Experience in the energy sector (optional but highly valuable) — power markets, renewables, transmission, storage, or related areas.
