Work Environment: NGL offers a flexible work environment where employees can work fully remote, hybrid or onsite at our Madison, Wis. office. We support virtual working arrangements in certain states outside of WI.
A Day in the Life:
The Senior Advisor (OCM) position advises on organizational change management strategies, meant to improve company effectiveness and drive business results. This position owns and guides complex projects with high risk and/or value to the organization. In addition, the Senior Advisor (OCM) requires a deep understanding of the processes, tools and techniques needed to help manage the people side of change.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an integrated OCM strategy and plan.
- Advise leadership on OCM activities including stakeholder engagement, change impacts, communications, training, support, and business readiness and measurements.
- Execute deliverables based on plans.
- Identify and resolve issues throughout a project's life cycle.
- Implement change concepts and methodologies to elevate the organization's OCM maturity.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Advisor (OCM) with developing key change deliverables.
- Report on project financials.
- Manage scope and resources.
- Manage project momentum and execution plans.
Essential to Your Success:
- Possesses a deep understanding of OCM and change leadership processes, tools and techniques needed to help manage the people side of change
- Knowledgeable of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or PDCA
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications conveying a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
- Ability to actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
- Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Ability to provide direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done
- Ability to consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
- Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Proficient knowledge in modern office productivity, communication, and collaboration toolsets
- Ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
- Action-oriented with the ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Ability to adapt approaches and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
- Knowledgeable of the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
Education Requirements:
Minimum Required: 4 year Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Masters Degree
Years of Experience:
- A minimum of seven years of experience managing an Organizational Change Initiative or having played a key role on a team managing an Organizational Change Initiative.
- Experience formally and independently managing the scope, budget and schedule of a project is ideal. Additional experience with Stakeholder, Communication and Risk Management Plans preferred.
