Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior/Advanced Developer to join a mission-critical project for the City of Jacksonville. In this role, you will address tough system challenges by leveraging your advanced expertise in Microsoft T-SQL, SSIS, and the .NET ecosystem.

You will work in a collaborative, Agile environment alongside other developers, designers, testers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, secure technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies. This role is full time and onsite in Jacksonville, FL. 

Core Responsibilities:
  • Database Management: Lead day-to-day database design. Write, review, optimize, and debug long and complex stored procedures, triggers, SQL queries, SSIS, and SSRS.

  • Full-Stack Development: Develop new components and modules using C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Angular, MVC, and RESTful API integrations (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE).

  • Systems Analysis & Design: Prepare detailed specifications and technical design documents. Identify and resolve gaps between business requirements and technical design.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to capture business rules and translate them into a robust architectural model. Provide quick turnaround on issues and requests.

  • Quality Assurance & Delivery: Enforce Microsoft and secure coding standards. Debug code, perform thorough unit testing, and support QA and User Acceptance testing. Deliver final products on time, within budget, and with minimum defects.

  • DevOps: Perform development using Agile methodologies and proper source control (Git on Azure DevOps / TFS).

Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Backend: Proficient in C#, .NET Frameworks, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and Entity Framework Core.

  • Frontend: Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, MVC, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, and XML. Understanding of both desktop and mobile web development.

  • Database: Advanced Microsoft T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS skills.

  • APIs & Integration: Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration.

  • Methodologies: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile environments. Secure coding/development experience is preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Must be highly self-motivated, able to work independently on smaller projects, and eager to keep up with industry trends.
