Your impact at NN: what you will do

As a Senior Actuary, you will play an important role in a large-scale European transformation programme. You will help migrate, improve and harmonise actuarial models used across different business units, while ensuring they meet business, reporting and regulatory requirements. Working closely with actuarial, risk and IT experts, you will contribute to solutions that support better decision-making and long-term business value. 

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and support the migration of actuarial cash flow models to a new target environment.
  • Analyse, document, validate and test actuarial models, assumptions and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, risk and IT stakeholders across multiple European markets.
  • Support the harmonisation of actuarial modelling approaches across business units.
  • Ensure model outputs meet business, regulatory and reporting requirements.
Who you will work with

You will work in an international environment with actuarial, risk, finance and IT professionals from several European countries. Together, you will design, migrate and improve actuarial modelling frameworks that support critical business processes. You will also engage with senior stakeholders through workshops, reviews and governance activities.

Who you are
  • Qualified Actuary with at least 7 years of experience in life insurance, pensions or financial services.
  • Experienced in actuarial cash flow modelling and insurance valuation methodologies.
  • Skilled in model development, migration, implementation or transformation projects.
  • Comfortable working with international and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
     
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Prophet, RAFM, Moses or similar actuarial modelling platforms.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS 17 and/or local regulatory reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working on large-scale actuarial transformation programmes.

Skills Required
