You Will:

  • Review the work of the Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring proper coding of GL accounts, department allocations, and amortization schedules.

  • Prepare and review weekly payment registers to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Take primary responsibility for processing Disbursement Partner invoices and serving as a backup for processing Customer Refunds, APAC and global invoices (US & EMEA).

  • Post adjusting journal entries promptly for issues identified by both Accounts Payable and Corporate Accounting.

  • Troubleshoot vendor-related issues, including payable setup and payment discrepancies.

  • Support the AP Lead by maintaining the AP inbox and responding to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure vendor payables are processed in compliance with departmental procedures, with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Contribute to month-end close activities, ensuring all invoices are properly posted in the correct accounting period with complete documentation.

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues with open payables, collaborating closely with AP team members in Manila, Managua, and Seattle.

  • Uphold internal controls and ensure consistency across the procure-to-pay process.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience and knowledge about proper application of Philippine VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT).

  • 5+ years of professional experience in an Accounts Payable role.

  • Proficient in processing invoices across multiple currencies and subsidiaries.

  • Extensive experience handling and processing invoices in the global setting.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Coupa, or similar ERP systems (experience with AI-driven invoice processing is a plus).

  • Proven ability to initiate and implement process improvements; Six Sigma certification is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Work Setup:

  • Shift: Morning

  • Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days work from home, 3 days onsite)

  • Onsite Location: Greenfield, Mandaluyong City
