High-trust role supporting ownership-level financial activity across personal and business entities
This role supports the financial activities of our Owner/CEO, Jeff Swickard, across both personal and designated business matters. This role requires discretion, accountability, and sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information. You will be responsible for:
- Accurate execution of accounting processes
- Organized, audit-ready financial records
- Day-to-day cash flow support
- Direct exposure to ownership-level financial activity
- Work across both personal and business financial environments
- Opportunity to support process improvements and system enhancements
- Role operates with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities across personal and designated business entities, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment-related accounts
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports summarizing income, expenses, and cash flow
- Support cash flow tracking and facilitate timely transfers and funding between accounts as directed
- Execute bill payment processes, including tracking due dates, preparing payments, and coordinating approvals
- Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records and documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by tracking actuals and identifying variances
- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders by providing requested documentation and information
- Identify and support opportunities to improve financial processes through standardization, automation, and system enhancements
- Utilize financial systems and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency in reporting and workflows
- Assist with financial coordination related to purchases, investments, or asset management activities
- Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested
- Coordinate with dealership accounting teams, as needed, to ensure alignment of shared financial data
- Handle sensitive financial information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or similar role
- Experience supporting complex or multi-entity financial environments (preferred)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting fundamentals
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong personal accountability and integrity
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-trust, low-supervision environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (QuickBooks, ERP systems, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Interest in process improvement and automation
- Ability to pass a background and financial credit check

Skills Required
