We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager at our office in Milan who will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks for the organization.
Your tasks
You will lead all Finance & Administration activities for the Italian operations, ensuring full ownership of financial performance and compliance.
You are providing strategic financial insights, influencing business decisions, and actively shaping the country’s strategic plans.
You will manage key financial areas including P&L, balance sheet, and ROIC while ensuring accurate local accounting, reporting, and tax compliance.
You take care of leading and developing the local FC&A team, while ensuring strong financial controls, systems, and governance are in place.
You will oversee HR/payroll processes and ensure full legal and procedural compliance across all operations.
You will collaborate closely with regional and local stakeholders, driving forecasting improvements and supporting change initiatives across the organization.
Your profile
Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting or Economics, or Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting can be compensated with experience and seniority
Professional English and Italian skills are a must have
5-10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles in international environment
Profound knowledge of Italian GAAP is a must
Experience in SWISS GAAP FER is an asset
Experience in operational HR management is an asset
Supply Chain and/or ITC is an asset
HR/Payroll/Workday experience is an asset
SAP-ECC or SAP-R3 user skills (migration experience in general will be appreciated)
Perfect knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Cognos is an asset
