Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements (including journal entries and bank reconciliation process) for accuracy. Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for the company and corporate entities.
- Manage cash balances and money movements across the corp entity structure.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on the month-end close process and related analytics and reporting.
- Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of intercompany activity.
- Own AP process and corporate credit card program via Ramp.
- Maintain a system of controls, policies, and procedures over month-end activities.
- Coordinate with audit and tax firms to ensure timely completion of annual audit and tax preparation.
- In collaboration with the People team, oversee personnel expense processing.
- Manage team of offshore staff accountants.
- Develop recommendations and implement strategies to optimize accounting systems and internal procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA a plus
- Systems fluency in NetSuite
- Excellent Excel skills
- Preference towards experience in Salesforce, Ramp, Rippling
- Multi Subsidiary experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Experience with Real Estate transactions and property accounting is preferred
- A team player with a passion for problem solving and continuous learning/ improvement
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work across departments and levels of leadership
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
