Senior Accounting Analyst

The Sr. Accounting Analyst will be instrumental in the daily accounting activities related to wholesale business units in One80 Intermediaries. They will be knowledgeable in broker/agent receivables, collections, Supplier Accounts Payable and data reporting.

Your Impact:

• Ability to apply funds received from all sources to the appropriate insured accounts which includes lockbox, electronic, credit card and check payments.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies by any means necessary before applying the funds.
• Timely clear balances in unaccounted accounts and clearing/suspense accounts.
• Closely monitor broker/agent receivables and follow up with brokers for collection of overdue receivables. Request notice of cancellations when deemed necessary.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in all areas of accounting.
• Assist in preparing month end reporting
• Bank Reconciliations
• Financials review
• Initiate internal transfers and ACH/Wire payments
• Process Supplier Payments for Brokerage and Programs
• Handle monthly Account Current reporting per Supplier contracts
• Maintain dedicated supplier Trust account balances
• System reconciliations

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• Experience in Insurance Accounting
• Able to communicate clearly & professionally with Underwriters , Agents/brokers and internal clients
• Experience with accounting management systems
• Self-Motivated
• Analytically minded
• Well versed in Excel and Word
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, challenging work environment
• Able to work cohesively with team members
• 4+ years experience with Insurance accounting preferred

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $60,000 - $75,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
