The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timely completion of all financial processes. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality accounting records, supporting monthly and annual reporting cycles and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
What You'll Do
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of financial transactions within the ERP system.
Prepare and execute payment runs across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Perform detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to bank accounts, customer and vendor balances, accruals, and other general ledger accounts.
Process payroll documentation and prepare payroll reports across applicable jurisdictions.
Support month-end closing and the preparation of management accounts.
Assist in preparing and submitting VAT/tax returns and other statutory reports.
Assist in coordinating statutory and tax audits, including the preparation of required audit schedules, supporting documentation and responses to auditor queries.
Collaborate with all finance team members to ensure alignment and efficiency across financial operations.
Provide guidance and mentoring to other accountants.
What We're Looking For
Chartered / Certified Accountant or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Finance role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in D365 and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
Proactive, organised and focused on continuous improvement.
Experience in the gaming industry is desirable but not essential
