The role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will help drive our goals by:
Leading month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
Managing general ledger processes, including journal preparation and review, as well as robust balance sheet reconciliations.
Overseeing critical areas such as inventory, fixed assets, intercompany and liabilities to ensure integrity of financial data.
Ensuring accuracy of the trial balance while providing clear, insightful analysis to support business decision-making.
Supporting tax, audit and statutory reporting requirements in line with internal policies and external standards.
Strengthening financial controls and governance while driving RTR improvements through automation and standardisation.
Partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
Coaching and supporting colleagues on accounting matters, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous development.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Proven experience in record-to-report or general accounting, with a strong track record in senior-level roles, combined with a solid understanding of financial reporting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology.
Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and drive results.
