Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Accountant sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, Colorado.
Perform monthly close duties such as preparing journal entries, variance reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis. Create/improve accounting internal controls and develop efficiency improvements. Establish recurring processes for the new entity and document processes and procedures to comply with SOX standards. Prepare weekly and monthly cash transfer certificates and update the cash projection related to the entity. Create and present ad-hoc analytics and effectively communicate with different departments. Assist KPMG and Internal Audit with quarterly and annual audits by providing supporting documents and answering all inquiries timely.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration plus 3 years of accounting experience in job offered or as Senior Accountant or similar roles. Also requires 3 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Accounting experience including month-end/year-end close, financial statement preparation and analysis, or financial statement audit.
- GAAP and SOX.
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and/or Google Suite
- Large ERP systems such as Oracle
- Advance data analytics
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $88,000.00/Year - $88,000.00/Year
