About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team on a 6‑month contract, with a view to extension. The role reports to the Finance Manager and is based in Melbourne.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning month‑end accounting, trial balances and balance sheet reconciliations
- Handling complex accounting matters such as revenue, tax, cashflows, acquisitions, share‑based payments and other non‑routine transactions
- Preparing and maintaining accounting papers, calculations and disclosures
- Playing a key role in internal and external audits
- Supporting consolidations, cashflows and statutory reporting
- Driving process improvements, documentation and automation
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant with solid hands‑on accounting experience
- Strong experience in cashflows, consolidations and complex accounting
- Comfortable working with financial systems and data
- Collaborative, adaptable and enjoys mentoring others
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
