Assist with the accounting team of Central Bancompany and Subsidiaries by creating timely and accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
Perform other tasks as needed as required by department.
Oversee accounting and banking records, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, posting, and recording accounting data.
Verify discrepancies and resolve account issues.
Participate in month and year-end closing activities.
Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Works on improving efficiencies throughout the corporation by actively and positively participating in meetings.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in software summits.
Maintain daily working relationships within all aspects of the company.
Generate, analyze, and deliver reports to different departments as needed.
Help with various accounting reconciliations and entries.
Team Leadership by leveraging strengths of the current finance team members.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
3+ years of experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills in a high-volume transactional environment
PC and software skills, preferably Microsoft Excel and Word
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
