Responsibilities:
- Monthly posting of payroll, accruals, prepaids, and depreciations in US GAAP
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Analytical review of results per branch
- Help in reporting branch results
- Fiscal Compliance, including:
- Preparation of CIT declaration and JPK-CIT return (supported by local Big4 advisors)
- Help during tax controls
Year-end closings, including:
- Preparation of IFRS statutory file
- Help during audit
- Preparation of IFRS financial statements
- Contact with branches
- Contact with external parties (auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities)
- Take on a variety of ad hoc tasks and projects across the accounting department, providing valuable support and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's or a comparable degree in accountancy or a related field
Excellent skills in utilizing Excel's functions and features
Fluency in English (and Polish for candidates based in Poland)
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong experience in tax compliance, including monthly and yearly closing procedures
Preferred:
Fluency in Polish, French, German, Spanish or Italian
Basic understanding of fiscal principles to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting
Highly motivated and eager to learn, with a genuine desire for continuous growth
Can work independently and maintains a high level of organization
Collaborative and enjoys working effectively as part of a team
Strong Know-How in GL Accounting is a plus
Familiarity with Oracle software is considered advantageous
