The Senior Accountant will be mastering accounting and controlling for multiple locations, with advanced knowledge of English. German, Italian or French is an asset.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of the entities based in EMEA, including trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliation
Preparation and filing of VAT returns
Preparation and filing of all tax returns
Preparation of annual Statutory Financial statements
Oversee internal and external communications (tax office, banks, auditors, consultants)
Responsible for Accounts payable and payments
Responsible for the controlling of the EMEA entities
Assist in the development of internal reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
Advanced English is a must, German, Italian or French is an asset
Professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge
Strong Background with US GAAP and IFRS
High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy
Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
Team player with a positive attitude, willing to go extra mile and help out, sees challenges as opportunities
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up
