The Role

GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

We have partnered with a technology company to identify a Senior Accountant to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

· Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, including contract review, revenue analysis, and accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP.

· Perform thorough reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records.

· Promptly and professionally respond to customer invoicing inquiries, providing clear and courteous communication to resolve issues and maintain high client satisfaction.

· Collaborate with internal and external auditors by gathering documentation and providing support throughout financial statement audits, ensuring a smooth and compliant audit process.

· Assist in the execution of month-end and year-end close procedures by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely reporting in accordance with financial deadlines.

· Process payroll with accuracy and discretion, ensuring timely compensation while maintaining full compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.

· Perform a variety of additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to team success.
