Osmo is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience to join our Finance & Operations team. This role will be critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening ERP processes, and partnering closely with operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll report to the Director of Finance & Operations and play a hands-on role in scaling the company’s financial foundation as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Own the monthly close process, including journal entries (depreciation, amortization, accruals), account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Drive accuracy in manufacturing accounting, including standard costing, BOMs, variances, and inventory valuation.

• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve visibility into production and cost drivers.

• Ensure ERP system accuracy and support process improvements and integrations (NetSuite preferred).

• Develop and refine internal controls and accounting workflows to support scale.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, offering insights and recommendations to leadership.

• Balance independent ownership of core tasks with cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing (fast-moving consumer goods, flavors & fragrances, or specialty chemicals a plus).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.

• Strong knowledge across accounting areas: AP, AR, invoicing, collections, reconciliations.

• Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite strongly preferred.

• Hands-on experience with standard costing, BOMs, and variance analysis.

• Proven track record of supporting monthly close and financial reporting.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with curiosity, kindness, and tenacity.

• Comfortable working independently while balancing team goals.

• Hybrid schedule: based in New York, NY or Elizabeth, NJ, with 2–3 days per week onsite.
