Build and lead Osmo’s fragrance quality control program from the ground up. Evaluate incoming raw materials and finished fragrance using automated results and trained sensory judgment, conduct triangulation testing, and make real-time accept or reject decisions. Develop QC processes, documentation, and systems; identify and resolve process gaps; and collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving, Fragrance Development, and AI teams. The role is fully onsite in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Own global regulatory compliance for fragrance ingredients, oils, formulations, and finished products across EU, US, UK, APAC, and LATAM markets. Interpret IFRA, REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation, FDA MoCRA, and other frameworks; lead regulatory databases and documentation; assess product risks; advise cross-functional teams; support customer compliance inquiries; and monitor emerging regulations. The role requires independent judgment on complex regulatory questions and proactive recommendations ahead of formal rule changes.

Own the architecture and evolution of Osmo’s canonical data platform, including data models, schemas, migrations, replication, APIs, integrations, access control, validation, concurrency, and auditability. Lead consistency across distributed systems under retries and partial failures, establish data modeling standards, partner with scientific and technical experts, and improve team capability through durable engineering practices and mentorship.

Own corporate financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, reporting, and investor materials. Build finance automations, reporting pipelines, reconciliation workflows, and reliable data integrations. Partner with department leaders on financial planning and decision-making, manage operational infrastructure including vendors and compliance, and execute delegated CFO workstreams. Support board reporting, fundraising, investor due diligence, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

The role involves evaluating and generating sensory data for fragrance compounds. Responsibilities include olfactory evaluation, data annotation, and stability testing while adhering to established panel protocols.

Embed with Software and AI teams to translate product and scientific goals into engineering milestones, manage dependencies, remove blockers, structure ML model release readiness, participate in design reviews, read code as needed, and drive cross-functional delivery using AI-powered tools and operational roadmaps.

The Head of IT will manage Osmo's IT operations, security compliance, vendor management, and employee IT experience, ensuring strategic and tactical execution across IT functions.
