Key Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for statutory and tax reporting, for a number of legal entities within Sanoma Group. This responsibility includes:
- Taking charge of the month-end closing process, ensuring quality and timely reporting of the financial results in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Ensuring accounts are reconciled and key controls are performed
- Managing all statutory reporting including preparation of financial statements and tax filings
- Being the first point of contact towards external/internal auditors and coordinate potential local tax audits
- Collaborating proactively and closely with business stakeholders and other finance colleagues, providing strong local accounting and tax expertise
- Playing a key role in continuously improving and enhancing our local accounting, tax and reporting processes
- Participating in various finance development projects, such as the roll-out of new finance systems
Formal Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting and/or finance
- At least five years of experience in accounting or auditing in an international company
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and tax (basic IFRS knowledge is considered a plus)
- Advanced SAP/S4HANA knowledge is a definite advantage
