Responsibilities
- NetSuite Bookkeeping (US-focused): Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings using NetSuite. Ensure accuracy and compliance with US accounting principles and company policies.
- Management of External Bookkeepers (Israel): Oversee and coordinate activities performed by external Israeli bookkeepers. Review monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and bank reconciliation reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards.
- Payroll Management: Supervise external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Review payroll reports and ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations. Coordinate approvals of payroll with internal stakeholders.
- Accounts Payable (AP) Process: Manage end-to-end AP workflow, including invoice processing, validation, and timely payments. Upload payments for approval within the banking systems, ensuring adherence to internal financial policies and procedures. Oversee and operate the vendor approval processes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and effective internal controls.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely and maintain continuous communication with the Head of Finance in Israel. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting, with demonstrated proficiency in NetSuite, particularly for US accounting processes.
- Experience working with external bookkeeping and payroll service providers.
- Strong understanding of Israeli accounting and payroll regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English and Hebrew is required.
