THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in scaling our financial operations. You will partner closely with the Controller in partnership to help build best practice accounting processes and procedures for Cyera’s global footprint. This position offers an exciting chance to join a thriving organization and contribute to the forefront of data security, making a significant impact on the protection of data for numerous global enterprises.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and Optimize Accounting Processes: Design, implement, and manage accounting processes and policies. Ensure systems are accurate, in compliance, and efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, providing insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger activities, including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately for all global entities.
- Audit & Compliance: Work with external partners to ensure compliance with tax regulations and audit standards.
- Process Automation: Proactively identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements in the accounting workflow, using tools like NetSuite and other integrations.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of accounting experience, handling accounting responsibilities/functions
- Experience working with global software companies in multiple currencies
- Knowledgeable in Accounting systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Expensify, Bill.com, Navan, etc.
- Proficient in Excel and G Suite
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Interest in a role with wide scope in a fast-paced environment
- Preference for candidates to be located near our US office hubs: NYC, CHI, STL, DFW, SF
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
