ATI is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. This position will be based in Natrona Heights, PA - supporting our Specialty Rolled Products business unit.
As a Senior Accountant you will be a key contributor and leader within the accounting function. The primary responsibilities of this position includes balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close related duties and ensuring accurate accounting for project costs and fixed assets.
This position will be in office five days per week at our Natrona Heights, PA office.
Essential Functions
- Manage the Fixed Asset and Projects accounting functions
- Review, analyze and process all capital asset disposal and capital asset transfer requests
- Lead the lease accounting processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Perform month-end closing procedures
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budgets for review by management and used in measuring, planning, and controlling business operations
- Assist with the ADP payroll processing
- Annual Tax Package preparation
- Assist in preparation of documentation for internal/external audit requests and SOX compliance data
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of relevant Accounting or Finance Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of operations and/or experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in Oracle ERP Systems
- Previous experience in accounting related to financial, cost, and fixed assets policies, procedures, and regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to analyze, interpret and report data.
- Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities and projects
