Job Description:

Summary & Purpose of the Position

Responsible for ensuring consistent financial information in real time for internal and external information needs.

Responsible for coordinating financial and accounting operations for supervising and reviewing the company's financial activities.

Propose, implement and develop functions and financial procedures.

Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies

Financial and Accounting

  • Respect and apply accounting policies and financial HQ, create, develop and coordinate financial and accounting policy at local level;
    • Is responsible for the proper use of SAP modules implemented
    • Is responsible for the implementation and control of accounting policy
    • Is responsible for using and maintaining data in all financial systems (including Anaplan, BFC, Diapason, TM1, Microstrategy, Ariba etc.)
  • Supervises, coordinates warrant the accuracy of financial information and acts as first point of contact with state authorities for compliance with aspects of taxes;
  • Manages and coordinates some financial reporting to HQ, activities on the relationship with the state and tax issues;
  • Supervises realization and term deposits of all accounting records, financial statements, as required by law;
  • Provides support for performance of contracts in accordance with the company's financial and legal regulations; ensure that the payment internal regulations.
  • Is responsible for the correct application of procedures Ipsen (by delegation of authority from the GM)
  • Provides support team Ipsen for accounting and financial issues
  • Check the correctness of the accounting records.
  • Prepare reports for management and draws up recommendations for improving the company's operations and financial position upon request
  • Follow modifying legislation on local accounting standards and international expansion, economic statistics, laws concerning current activities, tax regulations and issues relating to environmental standards.
  • Has knowledge of recent regulations in the financial, accounting, legal, local tax system and initiate changes if necessary in cooperation with the finance team and financial service provider team
  • Check the log of receipts and expenditures, cash register payments and purchases if at any time it would be applicable in the future and balance sheets and auditing relevant articles. Take decisions and is responsible for implementing results correctly, qualitative and time limits.
  • Coordinates and supervises the security of documents by collecting, processing and archiving in good condition and in accordance with the law.
  • Manage transparency reporting internally and to local authorities

Relationship with other departments

  • Provides support and assistance on financial accounting part of all departments
  • Work closely and actively cooperates with the other departments of the company teams in joint projects

Communication

  • Respect and implement internal regulations and all internal procedures, codes of ethics
  • Respect and implement the company travel policy
  • Respect deadlines for reporting activity
  • Respect and implement policy on company cars
  • Respect and implement financial accounting policy and all relevant company regulations and policies not listed above
  • Is responsible for the costs to be done in the most efficient way for company
  • Respect and enforce company policies and rules relating to communication with the authorities, media and health care professionals 
  • Observe and apply the rules of company communication using: e-mail, written reports (electronically or on paper), telephone, TM1
  • Participate in all internal meetings (meeting operational management meeting) where the company is invited. In the case in which this is not possible, the reason will be communicated at least 7 days before the day of the meeting will be announced (except emergency cases)
  • Follow learning and respect by staff in the department of general and specific safety rules work, financial accounting and information security documents, decisions and regulations of the company
  • The owner has limits to the level of competence and delegation function performed GM data.

Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in finance (10+ years) is a must and in the pharmaceutical industry is advantage

Education / Certifications (essential):

  • Master´s degree or similar

Language(s) (essential):

  •   Proficiency in English at a communicative level is required for written and spoken business communication.
  • Fluency in local language is a MUST
