We’re looking for a Senior Accountant, Revenue & AR to take ownership of revenue accounting, billing, and receivables across our entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls in a high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Accounting & AR Ownership

  • Own end-to-end revenue accounting and accounts receivable processes across all entities within DayOne Group
  • Ensure revenue is recognized correctly in line with IFRS equivalent (local GAAP) and US GAAP based on the contracts
  • Work closely with commercial, operations, and legal teams to ensure contracts are reflected accurately in billing and revenue schedules
  • Manage customer billing, invoicing accuracy, collections tracking, and AR ageing
  • Working with Tax team & IT team to ensure format of invoices are in accordance with the local statutory format
  • Identify and resolve revenue leakage, billing discrepancies, and collection risks

Month-End Close & Reporting

  • Prepare revenue, AR, and related reconciliations
  • Support monthly management reporting, schedules, and variance analysis

Controls, Compliance & Audit

  • Maintain strong internal controls over revenue and AR processes
  • Support internal and external audits, including interim and annual audits
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and consultants for statutory and tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and group accounting policies
  • Support reconciliation between IFRS and US GAAP

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Drive continuous improvement in revenue, billing, and AR workflows as DayOne scales
  • Support process standardization across entities and regions
  • Contribute to group accounting policies and documentation
  • Support implementation of group policy updates or new accounting standards impacting revenue and AR
  • Work in SAP S/4HANA and support system enhancements where required

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification
  • CPA / ACCA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in MNCs, Big 4, or fast-growing environments
  • Strong experience in revenue accounting and AR
  • Good understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and internal control frameworks (SOX knowledge is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred
  • High integrity, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

Skills Required

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification
