About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and technology-driven Finance Analyst to join our Asia Finance team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is passionate about leveraging AI, automation, and data analytics to improve finance processes and enhance operational efficiency. 

The successful candidate will support finance operations while identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate processes. This includes improving the efficiency and accuracy of month-end close, reducing manual effort, enhancing data quality, and streamlining reconciliations and reporting activities. 

We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding how finance processes work today and finding better ways to make them faster, more accurate, and less dependent on manual intervention. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with technology capabilities and is excited about applying AI, automation, and data analytics to improve controls, simplify workflows, and create capacity for higher-value finance activities. Experience gained through academic projects, internships, personal initiatives, or work experience involving AI, automation, process improvement, or data analytics will be highly valued. 

What You’ll Do

  • Support month-end close activities, financial reporting and finance operations across Asia region.  

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve finance processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.  

  • Leverage AI, automation, digital tools, and data analytics to reduce manual effort, repetitive reviews, and spreadsheet-driven activities. 

  • Analyze and reconcile data from multiple sources, ensuring completeness, consistency, and reliability of financial information.  

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and practical solutions that improve visibility, controls, and decision-making. 

  • Support audit, tax, compliance, and reporting requirements through better data management, automation, and process optimization. 

  • Participate in finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the region. 

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in Hong Kong

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.  

  • Fresh graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.  

  • Strong interest in AI, automation, technology, and process improvement.  

  • Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Python, SQL, Power Automate, Copilot, VBA, or similar tools would be advantageous.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.  

  • Curious mindset with a passion for finding smarter and more efficient ways of working.  

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.  

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.

Skills Required

  • Eligible to work in Hong Kong
  • Degree holder majoring in Accountancy or other relevant disciplines
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting / audit experience
  • Qualified accountant
  • MNC and/or Big 4 audit experience
  • High proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, pivot table, etc)
  • Knowledge in Macro or Power BI
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to handle large volumes of data
  • Strong logical thinking with an investigative mindset
  • Good written English and communication in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
  • Strong project management skills to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Meticulous with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong accounting and taxation knowledge in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore and other Asian countries
  • Available to start immediately (preference)
