As a Senior Accountant of Brevo, you will:
- Manage month-end close activities, including revenue and accrual entries
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Complete monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Process travel and entertainment expense entries
- Assist with cash collection and recording of accounts receivable for US customers
- Oversee yearly, quarterly, and monthly tax returns for the US and Canada with assistance from the external CPA
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage US Sales Tax through Avalara and Chargebee (billing system)
- Set up fixed assets and complete reconciliations
- Be the finance support for the Customer Experience team for the US billing entity
- Assist with general business compliance such as yearly business licenses, franchise tax filings, etc.
- Answer all employees’ inquiries relating to finance and accounting via Slack
- Submit monthly IRA and RRSP contributions
What will contribute to your success:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- At least 3-5 years of experience
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite and basic Excel functions
- Experience In using Netsuite, Notion, and Wrike software is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and a positive attitude
