Description
The Senior Accountant shall be responsible for ensuring proper accounting of the Company, supervising the movement of non-current and current assets and liabilities, and conducting audits of the Company's tax accounts.
Responsibilities
- Implement proper accounting of the Company and ensure timely reflection of data in the accounting program
- Execute bank payments
- Record bank statements in accounting programs (AS/1C)
- Write off and approve settlement documents
- Conduct accounting and tax accounting; draft tax and interim reports for management and submit them to the immediate supervisor
- Receive and record documents in the accounting program
- Record documents related to the movement of goods in the accounting program
- Check and record orders and imported packages in the accounting program
- Oversee and classify receivables and payables
- Calculate product cost price
- Verify the accuracy of expense statements of received invoices and check payment requests
- Perform other functions assigned by their immediate supervisor, arising from the duties of the position
Requirements
- Bachelor's and a higher degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or other related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position (accounting or finance)
- Knowledge of Armenian Software, E-invoicing, taxservice and other related accounting software
- Knowledge of the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia, and the Law on Temporary Disability Benefits
- Proficiency in working with numerical data
- Ability to draft reports and analyze information
- Ability to work under pressure
- Keen attention to details.
