Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst
We are seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst with experience in financial statement preparation and analysis across multiple subsidiaries; including Limited Partnerships (LPs), General Partners (GPs), and Housing Development Corps in a Hospital setting. This role is responsible for core accounting functions, program budget management, accounts payable, and the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements for management and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits, and provide actionable financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Preparation and analysis of LP, GP, and HDFC financial statements; Financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Audit support and stakeholder reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters, CPA or CPA-track preferred)
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or human services organization
- 3-5 years of experience serving in a management/leadership capacity
- Experience managing grants, government funding, and reimbursement-based programs preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with accounts payable and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Salary Range: $85k-$95k
$85,000-$95,000
